Terri Minor-Spencer is the Founder and President of the grassroots non-profit orgination West End P.O.W.E.R. – whose mission is providing opportunities with effective resources by giving back by doing works of service with employment support(s), educational civics & awareness, eidetic empowerment and social/home needs. She is also the Outreach Coordinator of The Community of Change Center – a safe community space for community members, unity building, returning citizens and guests to have unity fun, job readiness, adult g.e.d. 6 month schooling, home economics, Spanish class, Entrepreneur Readiness. She has received a proclamation from the City of Pittsburgh declaring October 7th Terri Minor-Spencer Day for her Advocacy and Community Outreach. Terri is a graduate of the Emerge PA Cohort. Terri is one of Pittsburgh Courier 2019 Women of Excellence and she co-hosted for The Juneteenth Black Tie Affair.
Terri has been featured in Public Source, Terri was a candidate for The Jefferson Awards, has did a radio segment with 90.5 WESA on The People Who Make The Place They Live A Better Place. She has been featured in NOBLE Magazine(National Organization of Black Legal Executives) She has spoken at the viewing of The Sentence the documentary of a woman’s 15yr sentence under the mandatory/minimum. In 2018 She ran in a campaign and won! Teresa is the 12th District 20th Ward Democratic Committee Woman.
She has worked and continues to work selflessly and relentlessly in her fight for change .
